An operating system for one person running the work of many.
Every project, decision, risk, meeting and reflection is one immutable event in a single append-only log. Every tracker, board, portfolio view and daily cockpit is derived from that log. Nothing is hand-edited, so nothing drifts.
Why it exists
I run several ventures and several client engagements at once. Memory and status reports cannot carry that; both drift from what actually happened. I needed a system that could answer what happened, and what was decided without asking me to remember — the same instinct that makes me check a usage number against the production database before it goes into a deck.
So the log is the system. Everything else is a view.

How it works
Six ideas, held strictly.

One stream
Each event carries a coordinate — which process and step it belongs to, and what kind of event it is, from a closed set of sixteen: decision, risk, blocker, shipped, wonder and the rest.

Five lenses
The same events, read at five altitudes: Dhinam (தினம், the day), Thittam (திட்டம், the plan), Iyanthiram (இயந்திரம், the machinery), Viyugam (வியூகம், the strategy), Thottam (தோட்டம், the garden of patterns).

Derived views
Trackers, portfolios and health views are regenerated from the log by derivation tools. A view that disagrees with the log is a bug in the view.

Agent-native
Model Context Protocol servers let coding agents read the log, file what they did, and close their own loop — every session ends with an event, or it did not happen.

Departments as a frame
Six Tamil place-names cut every venture the same way: pattarai (workshop), kadai (shop), medai (stage), sandhai (market), kanakku (accounts), alavai (measurement).

A cockpit
A desktop app renders the lenses with a terminal alongside, so planning and doing share one surface.
The vocabulary
Sixteen kinds of event. No others.
A closed vocabulary is what lets every view be derived. If an event does not fit, the vocabulary changes deliberately — it never grows by accident.
Status, honestly
Astram runs my own ventures and client work every day. It is not a product you can buy today. The store is mid-migration from Markdown files to Postgres, and I would rather say that than dress it up.
