Pre-contract PDF/UA assessments for two prospective clients. Honest diagnoses; neither converted.
What was built
- Figure-by-figure alt-text and tagging assessment
- A fix-in-place versus re-author-from-source diagnosis for each document
What happened
Both proposals were scoped honestly and did not convert. One document was fully rasterised, which meant re-authoring, not repair.
What it taught me
An honest assessment sometimes prices you out of the deal. That is the correct outcome.
